The Happiness Concern is a small independent private practice, its small, and has a big personality; we are good at what we do. All the counsellors that work with me are known as affiliated counsellors, that means they share the same passion and care for our clients. We are all very experienced and professionally trained and qualified. The Happiness Concern counsellors are not fast tracked into their professions, there are no short cuts taken in our training or development. We ensure that the counsellors and therapists have a wide breadth of experience and training so we can provide a wide range of services to people that ask for our help.

Our services include providing couples counselling, family therapy, anger management therapy, workplace counselling, therapeutic workshops to groups. In addition to these services we are also providing tailored therapy programmes and workshops to couples, which are specifically designed to their requirements. We aim to bring the best therapeutic care and services to Sheffield and South Yorkshire, whilst maintaining professionalism, high quality and personalised care with no waiting lists, and no compromise.

All the services we provide work complimentary with external services if required. We can provide tailored packages of care, which includes reports to support our clients well-being. External services maybe professionals already involved in your care such as solicitors, social services, probation or health and welfare services. All our fees are adjusted accordingly.

A note from Dawn

I established The Happiness Concern, as I wanted to bring together all my experiences and training in my life to help others in a positive and effective way.

My aim is that there is an Happiness Concern service in more areas of the country.... You will not experience being just a number.... we will treat you as an individual and respect and value you from the start.

Happiness is so important to us.... we are all seeking to be happier, and all have different ways to become happier for a short time. I believe and have learnt that true happiness comes from within, and that to love oneself is the start of a lifelong romance. (Oscar Wilde)....
